SADDLEWORTH’S STUNNING landscapes will be brought to life in an exhibition by two local artists in Uppermill this month.
Talented Rachel Fish and Gillian Haywood will be showcasing their work at Reclamation Room café on Lee Street from March 7 to April 4.
On display will be a variety of landscapes from around Saddleworth as well as Manchester scapes and figurative work.
Rachel, who recently designed the cover for Gloria Estefan’s latest album ‘Soy Mujer’, said: “We are both very excited to be exhibiting our work locally and we hope people like it.”
The pair follow another duo emerging artists Steve Stringer and Dave Oag who exhibited for the first time at Reclamation Room throughout February.
Billed as The Pennine Painters, landscape and figurative artists Steve and Dave both attend John McCombs art classes in Delph and often seen with their easels round the hills.
