Family photoshoot to raise funds for children with autism

CAPTURE THOSE special family moments at a photoshoot this Bank Holiday weekend to help raise funds for children with autism.

Six families of children with autism, who attend Bright Futures School, have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for legal fees to fight for the educational provision their children need.

To help raise the £6,000 needed, they are hosting a family photoshoot by Mark Gibbins, a professional photographer, whose son Harry attends Bright Futures School.

The photoshoot, over the Bank Holiday weekend, is open to all families, but Mark has particular experience of photographing families of children with disabilities who often find it difficult to take part in group photos.

This kind of 45 minute-1 hour photoshoot usually costs between £300-£500 but is available for a bargain minimum donation of £50 (cash please).

You will receive a collection of downloadable photographs taken on the day that will be emailed to you within two days so that you can get them printed.

Bright Futures School, which has a lovely garden and light-filled rooms, has offered to host the photoshoot on Saturday 27, Sunday 28 and Monday 29 May.

Bookings are required – please ring Christina on 01457 878738 between 9.30-11.30 Mon-Fri or email: office@brightfuturesschool.co.uk

A similar event was held last month to raise funds, and one delighted parent said: “It was amazing! Between us all there were 10 adults, 14 children and 5 dogs!

“The photos where stunning. I would recommend Mark to anyone who wanted professional pictures of their families. He was so good at organising all the children and adults and even the dogs. It was a lovely day and for a fabulous cause.”
