THE SOUND of Lionel Richie will be brought to Saddleworth this month at a tribute night in aid of a Grasscroft School for children with autism.
The event will take place on Friday, October 14 from 8pm and guests can look forward to a good boogie to ‘all the hits – all night long’.
The event is raising funds for the new IT packages and equipment for pupils at Bright Futures School.
Zoe Thompson, School Proprietor and Head of Development, said: “This will be our fourth fundraiser of the year and we are really looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible.
“With the support of the generous Saddleworth public, we hope to raise as much money as we possibly can so we can finance Adobe Creative Suite and other IT-related goodies.”
A delicious potato pie will be available on the night for £2 per person. Tickets, £10 each, can be bought from Bright Futures School, The Royal George, or email Christina at email@example.com
The event follows a successful pub quiz, which raised over £550, and a fashion show which raised another £400, and a MacMillan Coffee Morning at the school on Oldham Road.
