COMEDIANS ARE lining up to get audiences laughing in their seats at Greenfield’s Off The Rails Comedy Club this month.
On Saturday, May 13 is the long anticipated appearance of TV’s Matt Richardson, who has also reached a much wider audience from his presenting work on The Xtra Factor, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and Virgin Radio.
Matt will be joined by acerbic Irishman Michael Legge as well as digital buffoonery from Phil Lucas who has been described as ‘Like Harry Hill with PowerPoint’.
The show will be aiming to raise £1,000 for Mossley-based Evade Martial Arts World Competition Fund.
Then reigning UK Best Comedian Of The Year Danny McLoughlin will be in charge of the proceedings on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 28.
Danny will be introducing three comedians who are all in Saddleworth for the very first time, including Northampton’s Andrew Bird.
Andrew cut his comedy chops in his local pub then after dropping out of art college and working in a factory he finally bit the bullet and took to performing stand up for a living.
Newsreader and funny man Glenn Moore completes the line up along with Liverpool’s curiously monikered Top Joe.
All shows take place at The Royal George, Manchester Road, Greenfield OL3 7HX. Full details and online booking available online at www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk
