CAROLS AND festive fun filled the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Uppermill as Saddleworth Carers held their annual Christmas Party.
Special guests Cllr Pam Byrne, chair of Saddleworth Parish Council, and Debbie Abrahams MP joined the members and committee for the celebration.

There was a delicious Christmas buffet for all to enjoy as well as a raffle with great prizes, from chocolate and wine to gifts and vouchers.
And there was entertainment by Delpher Gilbert Symes and music from brass band musicians.
Saddleworth Carers was set up Dr Eamon O’Daly for carers who look after loved ones with dementia.
Dr O’Daly was a recent winner of an Above and Beyond award presented to villagers for services to the local community.
