THREE EXCEPTIONAL, pioneering people are being sought to help secure the future of UK National Parks through a new venture.
The trio of non-executive directors will form the first board for a new scheme called National Parks Partnership Ltd (NPPL).
NPPL is set to transform corporate relationships and achieve significant sponsorship for the UK’s most iconic landscapes.
Non-executive directors will make an essential contribution to driving forward the new organisation, providing independent support and challenge in determining the company’s strategic direction, growth and business plan.
To be considered, people need a proven ability to shape the new company’s strategic approach and effective communication and relationship building skills.
Lesley Roberts, chair of the Peak District National Park Authority, said: “This is an unprecedented opportunity and at a critical time to be instrumental in shaping the future for our UK National Parks through a step change in how the corporate sector engages with our agenda.
“We are keen to hear from people from any sector who have established strong networks, have relevant financial awareness, marketing and branding experience and, of course, a passion for national parks.”
The roles are voluntary but expenses will be paid.

The closing date for applications is 20 April 2015.
