THE seaside is coming to Saddleworth this summer.
‘Diggle-on-sea’ is the theme for Diggle School’s Summer Fete on Saturday, June 22, inviting locals to roll up for one day only to enjoy a day by the beach.
The event runs from 2pm-8pm at the school and will offer an afternoon of family fun including seas-side themed games, stalls, inflatables, a barbecue and a bar.
There will also be entertainment including Punch and Judy shows, Saddleworth Morris Men, and live music from incredible local acts.
And there will be a Grand Prize Draw with a chance to win a cash prize, days out vouchers and much more.
Entry is £2 for adults, children free. The event is hosted by Friends of Diggle School.
