A TALENTED line-up of bands and musicians has been revealed as Wellifest returns to Saddleworth after a successful debut last year.
The music event, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Saddleworth and Oldham Metro, will be held at Well-i-Hole Farm, Greenfield, on Saturday, June 29 from 3.30pm-9.30pm.
This year’s extravaganza will feature headline acts Frankie Valli Tribute (Stars in Their Eyes Winner Peter Starsfield) and Tom Hingley, former lead singer with Inspiral Carpets.
Also taking to the stage will be a number of well-known local bands including Blackballed, Tony Auton, Aleya Mae, Tom Gibson, Uncle Buck, One Day, Frank Lund and Nina G.
DJ Bob Marshall will play all your favourite hits from the last six decades between live performances.
The event will be opened by the winner and runner-up of 12 to 16-year-old Grand Final to be held at the Royal George, Greenfield on Friday, January 25.
Dubbed ‘the best community charity event in Saddleworth for all the family’, there will be entertainment for all ages, a bar and variety of food outlets. Gates open at 2.30pm.
Advance tickets cost £12 adults (over 12 years), £5 child (5-12 years), Under 5 years go free. A family ticket (2 Adults and 2 Children) costs £30. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
