The Saddleworth Independent is a respected, free, monthly newspaper with a readership of 25,000 across 13 villages in one of the most desired parts of the North West.
Set up in 2010, the newspaper has established itself as a popular, first-choice publication offering a voice to the villages and a news service to locals, businesses and advertisers.
It is Saddleworth’s only newspaper with an award-winning professional team reporting important stories, pictures, social, business and sporting events, all under the direction of Editor in Chief Aimee Belmore and Editor Trevor Baxter.
The newspaper is hand-delivered to more than 180 outlets across the community, so is guaranteed to be distributed, picked up and read on time. Outlets include pubs, restaurants and cafés, post offices and newsagents, libraries, gyms and fitness centres, and Greenfield train station.
