3D Dynamos on top form

3D DYNAMOS’ first team enjoyed a successful April in division three of the Huddersfield & District League.


3D Dynamos U16s

They won three and drew once from five fixtures in which they scored 13 goals and conceded six.

Zack Barton, who scored four goals in a 6-0 win against Deighton, and Danny Laithwaite were named joint player of the month.

The reserves have finished fourth in division four of the Huddersfield & District League.

They enjoyed a 9-0 home win against Honley ‘A’, Will Beaumont and Sam Scott both bagging hat-tricks.

The U7s won silverware as they won the East Manchester Junior Football League Cup with the final played at Curzon Ashton. However, we are not permitted to print their opponents and scoreline due to Football Association guidelines.

Jubilant manager Mark Daniel said: “The boys did themselves proud and thoroughly enjoyed the day out. It’s what makes football special.”


3D Dynamos Under 7 Cup Final

The U8, U10 and U11 teams are also in finals, but they were postponed on the original date and have to be rearranged.

The U12 Trojans beat Santos 3-1 with goals from Max Donnelly, Francis Butterworth and William Shelley, but lost 3-0 at Dukinfield Tigers Stripes.

The U12 Spartans have had mixed fortunes, beating Denton Youth Blues 6-4 and Manchester Corinthians Whites 7-3, but losing 3-0 to Denton Youth Blues and 4-1 at Chadderton Park Griffins.

Harley Edge and Eric Sommerville each scored twice in the win against Denton Youth Blues.

The U14 Blues have lost all three games in April: 7-1 at Chadderton Park Griffins, 2-0 at Chadderton Park Vipers and 4-1 at Reddish Vulcans Thunder, but U14 yellows won 4-1 at Chadderton Blacks.

The U16s, who play in Tameside League ‘B’ division, will be moving up into the U18s and some of the lads will also be playing for the first team and reserves as part of the club’s development plan.


3D Dynamos Under 7s

Nine of the players started their footballing days at the 3D Dynamos soccer school aged five.

In recent matches, they lost 6-0 to Dukinfield Youth in the quarter finals of the League Cup, but won 2-1 in the league at Droylsden Juniors Panthers, Niall Grant scoring both goals.

Grant also found the net in a 2-2 draw at Stalybridge Celtic along with Will Cooper who also scored twice in a 3-2 win against Droylsden Juniors Panthers, with Liam Wild also finding the net.
