BOTH 3D Dynamos U12 teams are third in their divisions and bidding for promotion in the East Manchester Junior Football League.
The U12 Spartans are prolific goalscorers in division two, winning 14-2 at Hollingworth Blacks.
Eric Summerville and Cameron Taylor scored hat tricks, there were two goals apiece for Ethan Fallon, Harley Edge and Ellis Clarke and one each for Tyler Chalk and Archie Scott.
They have also triumphed 8-2 at Mossley Juniors Raptors, with Eric Summerville scoring four, Harley Edge two and Ethan Fallon and Archie Scott completing the scoring.
The U12 Trojans recovered from a 3-0 loss at Moston Brook to get their promotion bid back on track in division five with a 1-0 win at Saddleworth Strikers, with Finley Sanderson’s volley from a corner proving decisive.
The U7s had an unexpected 5-2 cup win while Austin Lees scored a hat trick and Rueben Strahand two goals in a 5-0 win for the U8s. At this age group the Football Association say it not permissible to name the opposing teams.
The U14 blues lost 5-0 at Reddish Vulcans Thunder in East Manchester Championship while U14 yellows lost 5-1 at home to Moston Juniors Reds.
The U16s continue to have a good season as they are third in division ‘B’ of the Tameside League.
In their latest games, they drew 2-2 against AFC Oldham with goals from Connor Ratcliffe and Daniel Tootell and triumphed 4-3 at Bridge Eagles with Liam Wild (2) and Kaleb Cyprus among the scorers.
They also have a cup game against Dukinfield on April 8.
At senior level, the first team is fifth in division three of the Huddersfield and District League having recovered from a bad start to the season.
In their two latest games, they drew 3-3 at Almondbury WMC with goals from Ben Lavin, Zack Barton and Kyle Moore and beat Hade Edge 4-2 with a hat trick from Barton taking his season’s total to 25 goals. Keitel Howarth also found the net.
