3D’s growth spurt

3D DYNAMOS continues to grow and will have 16 teams competing in 2018/19 season, including three new at U7 level and one at U17 at they look to continue with the FA philosophy of ‘Growing The Game’.

Growing at the younger end is key to the club’s success and chairman Carl Hirst works tirelessly with the soccer school to ensure they have new teams every season at U7s.

In the last three seasons he has worked with parents to help them into coaching and seven teams have been created.

One of those teams is coached by John Lees and his U8s finished runners up in a tournament in Warrington; losing to an injury time goal in the final. The star of the show that day for 3D Dynamos was Emilia Sivori, who won the player-of-the-tournament award.

Changes in the club committee room sees Lesley Milne and Neil Beevor voted in as interim secretary and treasurer until the club’s annual meeting on Thursday, August 16 when these positions will be confirmed.

On the playing front Neil Beevor also takes on the reserve team for 2018/19 season and is looking to put into practice all he has learned completing his UEFA ‘B’ Licence.
