April brings host of fools to Comedy Club in Greenfield

ALL manner of foolery descends on Greenfield this month when Off The Rails Comedy Club plays host to two great nights of live stand-up comedy.

Tom Houghton

Grasscroft’s Bright Futures School will be aiming to raise £1,000 on Friday, April 20 when they hold their fundraising evening at the comedy club at The Royal George, Greenfield.

Visiting for the first time is Tom Houghton who is a natural comic talent. He is also a fully paid-up member of the British upper class. His father ran the UK armed forces and he currently lives in The Tower of London!

Funny and charming, with roguish tales and hilarious songs, Tom Houghton is star on the rise.
Canadian prop comic and MC Rob Riley round off the evening, with one other act to be confirmed.

Then the event on Sunday, April 29 is already selling fast because the entire show is given over to popular Tom Binns,

Tom has endeared himself to the nation with his hit BBC One show ‘Hospital People’ in which he played several characters himself with hapless hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury and hospital porter turned psychic medium Ian D Montfort.

Tom’s been the comedy circuit’s best kept secret for nearly twenty years but his TV success has found him a whole host of new fans and this is a great chance to see Tom, Ivan and Ian live plus one or two surprises.
