THE POPULAR Saddleworth Handmade Festival is returning to the Uppermill Civic Hall with a huge selection of handmade and creative stalls for all your treats, goodies and gifts.
On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, September from 11am-4pm, the Autumn Festival hosted by the Saddleworth Creative Network, will take place, offering a vast variety of stalls, displays, refreshments and more.
There will be a great display of local artisan products from wood to metalwork, pies to cupcakes, jewellery to gifts, artwork, sculpture, ceramics, glass, felt, knitted and sewn and much more.
The event is free to enter and is collecting money for the ‘Isaac Nash Trust’ by running a tombola of handmade products generously provided by the stallholders.
There are also free balloons for the children and a lucky dip and some interactive stalls for them to enjoy.
The SCN pop-up teashop will be provided by Diane and her team from ‘Cuppa Cupcake Cuppa Coffee’, serving up delicious home-cooked meals or a brew and slice of cake.
For photos of past events and more information about which stalls to expect visit our Facebook page and get a sneak preview.
The handmade festivals are seasonal events so look out for Winter and Christmas events soon, as well as a repeat of last year’s successful ‘Saddleworth Food & Drink Festival’ on 15-16 October.
