Awe-inspiring carnival of puppets set to take stage at Oldham Coliseum

AN AWE-INSPIRING carnival of puppets arrives in Oldham on Saturday, March 11  at Oldham Coliseum Theatre Studio.

‘Cardboard Carnival – The Carnival of the Animals’ sees Lempen Puppet Theatre Company take audiences on a magical journey with lions, birds, elephants and much more hand-crafted from cardboard.

Lempen Puppet Theatre Company tour their own unique brand of original stories told with puppets.

Imaginative, spellbinding, surprising, and sometimes bonkers, their productions take inspiration from myth and folklore, connecting the real world to the world of the imagination.

Based in North Yorkshire, but touring nationally and internationally Liz and Daniel Lempen are also the Artistic Directors for Skipton International Puppet Festival.

Suitable for ages 4+, ‘Cardboard Carnival’ is a visual fest from start to finish, sure to give young people lots of ideas of things to make at home.
