Despite atrocious conditions in Salford, Saddleworth produced a scintillating brand of rugby league and will now face national finalists St Peters, from Wigan, in the last four of the prestigious competition.
Player-of-the-match was Nolan Tupaea, who scored two pivotal tries, while Jack Sinfield was successful with all seven conversions.
