WORLD Class Brass is coming to Mossley in May as top band Black Dyke takes to the stage at the George Lawton Hall.
The talented band, which was established in 1855, will entertain on Thursday, May 30 at 7.30pm led by director of music Professor Nicholas Childs.
Phil Beckwith, organiser of the event, said: “Black Dyke are probably the number one brass band in the country at the moment.
“We are looking forward to having them perform again locally and it promises to be another great night.”
The concert is raising money for the Mossley Whit Friday Band Contest, which is moving this year to take place at Mossley FC’s ground, Seel Park on June 14.
Tickets for the concert at the George Lawton Hall cost £12 (children 14 and under go free when accompanied by an adult).
