A MOUTH-WATERING line-up of beers and ciders can be enjoyed as the Saddleworth Beer Festival returns to the Civic Hall in Uppermill next month.
On March 3 and 4, the charity event will be hosted once more offering up to 20 beers and ciders from across the country, along with live entertainment, raffles and hot food.
On Friday, doors will open from 6pm to midnight and there will be music from The Pistuns, while on Saturday the event is 1.30pm to midnight with music from The Divide.
Peter Archer, who organises the popular annual event with Jonny Frankell, is excited to bring the “great line-up” back to the Civic Hall once again.
He said: “We’ll have old favourites such as Jaipur and Mary Jane as it’s the first thing a lot of people ask for. But there’ll also be new brews as well for people to try.
“There will be lots of different sorts of beers, from bitters and stout to light beers, and we’ll also have strong and medium ciders from The Real Cider Company in Cragg Vale.
“We’re also running the normal bar with lagers, wine, spirits and soft drinks, so all are invited to join us and have a good time.”
Money raised from the event will benefit the Royal British Legion, MIND and the Saddleworth Parish Council’s Chairman’s chosen charities.
Saddleworth Beer Festival will be held at Uppermill Civic Hall on March, Friday 3 and Saturday 4. Friday: 6pm-12midnight and Saturday: 1.30pm-12midnight.
Tickets cost £4 for one day or £6 for two days, pay on the door.
