Caffè Grande Abaco is raising the Bar

UPPERMILL’S premier café bar has made some dramatic changes over the last few months, including opening two new floors and creating four lovely spaces to spend your time relaxing, eating, drinking and meeting friends.

The new first floor hosts the impressive Abaci Bar, stocked full of specialty gins and spirits as well as exclusively serving Cruz Campo and a bespoke Abaco IPA on draught, hitting the spot every time.

The second floor is a perfect place to chill with a coffee or a glass of wine, and on a clear day offers a stunning view of the hills above Uppermill, including the Pots and Pans monument.

These two floors, including the lower ground floor, are now also available for private hire. So, if you are having a party, hosing an event or maybe a business meeting, Caffè Grande Abaco can exclusively cater for your needs.

With fabulous menu choices and waiter service, you and your guests can simply relax and enjoy.

Also look out for Abaco’s monthly special events, hosted in store. From wine tasting to themed food experiences, the quality and value for money are terrific.

One of Uppermill’s most popular spots. The terrace at Caffe Grande Abaco

  1. Dear sir/madam,
I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction and wish to complain about the disgraceful service of staff members and treatment.
I attended for a introductory interview on Friday 30th April 2021 to be placed into very intense free labour of kitchen duties for one hour.
I was perminantly dictated to by a Italian/Greek waiter in everything, it was degrading.
Mark the head chef was not welcoming, staff members were rude, hostile and unapproachable.
The job description was unreasonable, bad conditions to work in and I came home and three of my cigarettes were taken out of my handbag even though they were put in a coded staffroom.
    Please contact me via email.
    Thank you for your time,
    Miss E Cobain
