Calling all young Oldham Roughyeds fans

If you’re under 16, boy or girl, you can win a chance to be the Oldham RLFC team mascot against Betfred Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers at Bower Fold, Stalybridge on Sunday (3pm) in the fifth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

 

Enter the competition to be in with a chance to walk out with Oldham

Accompanied by the Oldham captain, the lucky winner will lead the Roughyeds team out on to the Bower Fold pitch and be part of the pre-game formalities.

 

Parents or guardians will be invited to attend the game which will be a repeat of a famous win by Scott Naylor’s boys against Hull KR at the same stage of the same competition . . . when ?

 

All fans have to do to be entered into a prize draw is to answer the following question correctly:

 

IN WHAT YEAR DID OLDHAM LAST BEAT HULL KR IN THE CHALLENGE CUP ?

 

Entries must be emailed as soon as possible to: groundhog@roughyeds.co.uk giving parental contact details.

 

Fans will have the opportunity at the Vestacare Stadium this Thursday evening, between 6pm and 7.30pm, to watch the players training for the big match; to meet the coaching staff; and to have photographs taken with the Challenge Cup.

 

The trophy will be available for public viewing and everyone who attends will be entered into a prize draw for a Challenge Cup final ticket and FREE executive coach travel to Wembley and back onSaturday, August 25.
