FIVE years of coffee, cakes, treats and raising thousands of pounds for charities have been celebrated at Cavallo Coffee Box.
The trailer, on Millcroft Lane in Delph, is a firm favourite with walkers, cyclists and horse riders who stop by to tuck into hot and cold drinks plus sweet and savoury snacks.
Owner Sue Toone has also organised numerous sponsored walks, raising thousands of pounds for Oldham Mountain Rescue Team and other causes.
And her annual fundraising Dog Shows and themed events at Halloween and Christmas attract visitors of all ages from across the area.
August brought Cavallo’s fifth anniversary, which Sue celebrated by handing out free chocolate to all customers.
She said: “At Christmas, when it had poured down for three months, I wondered whether we’d make it to this point, but we have!
“Thank you to all my wonderful customers for your support over the years, many of whom have turned into friends.
“Thanks for supporting the many charity events we’ve done – you’ve raised thousands for local charities, and hopefully had fun too.”
“Thanks again, and here’s to another half decade!”
