He will be sharing his expertise at a free cookery event at Tommyfield Market on Wednesday, March 11 from 10am until 4pm.

There he will dish out advice and tips on how to cook great tasting recipes with leftover ingredients, how to make your food last longer and money saving ideas.

The event supports the 10 Cities campaign which encourages residents to reduce food waste, which could save the average family up to £700 per year.

Richard Fox commented: “I have been involved with the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign for a long time and am very committed to helping people create great meals from their leftovers.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the public in our live demonstrations.”

‘Love Food Hate Waste’ is delivered by WRAP, a registered charity which works with businesses, individuals and communities to help them reap the benefits of reducing waste, developing sustainable products and using resources in an efficient way.

More information on all of WRAP’s programmes can be found on www.wrap.org.uk and recipe suggestions can also be found on www.lovefoodhatewaste.com
