A CHARITY event is being launched by Milltown to Moors runners, to recognise participants from the 2015 race series and raise valuable money for Children With Cancer UK.
Runners from the 2015 series will be recognised at the fundraising night, which takes place at St. Anne’s Rugby Club on Saturday, January 23 from 7pm to 1am.
Prizes for the overall winners will be presented alongside veterans category runners and people that took part in all three events during 2015.
The ticket-only evening is open to anyone from the local community as well as the runners, marshals and people involved in the events.
Tickets, which cost £10 and include a hot pie supper and a gold ribbon pin badge, can be purchased through the local running clubs Oldham and Royton Harriers, Royton Road Runners and Saddleworth Runners or through James Wright. More details on the event can be found on the Facebook page.
