A CHARITY Night at Greenfield Conservative Club went down a storm to raise almost £1,000 for charities.
May Brooks organised the event last month, including a quiz, live entertainment by family and friends who are musicians, a supper, a raffle and more.
Around 90 people attended, helping to raise £510 for The Alzheimer’s Society and £450 for The Jolly Wheezers choir.
May said: “I’m delighted as it’s the first event like this I’ve organised! Thank you to everyone who came and to the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes.”
