CHILDREN GOT hands on with creative crafts and activities at a Good Friday extravaganza at St Chad’s Parish Centre in Uppermill.
Around 35 children from Sundays schools at St Chad’s and Kilngreen, Diggle took part in baking bread, creating two Easter gardens for the churches, decorating hard boiled eggs, making finger puppets, planting seeds, and making Easter flowers to go on the crosses at church.
The session ended with a short service lead by Reverend Duncan Rhodes.
