KIND-HEARTED pupils at Knowsley Junior School helped ensure other children had a wonderful Christmas by donating a host of presents and toys.
The unwrapped gifts were gathered under the tree in the entrance hall of the school, which was an official drop-off point for the Mission Christmas scheme, before being collected.
The school also collected change in money boxes which will be used to buy presents for 0 to 18-year-olds.
The initiative, run by Hits Radio, sees gifts collected at schools, businesses and organisations to make sure disadvantaged children can open a present on Christmas day.
Meanwhile, from snowmen to reindeer and even dinosaurs, there was a colourful array of festive jumpers on display at school in aid of charity.
Pupils and staff each made a £1 donation to dress up in Christmas jumpers for the day, raising £250.
