Coffee to flow for World’s Biggest Macmillian events across Saddleworth

SADDLEWORTH is turning green once more for Macmillan with a host of World’s Biggest Coffee Mornings.

On Friday, September 15 enjoy soup and sandwiches at an event hosted by Betty Tomlinson at Stoneswood Farm, Delph from 11am. All are welcome, entry is £5 and includes lunch, cakes, tea and coffee and a raffle.

Then Springlees Court, Springhead is opening its doors for their event on Thursday, September 21 for their Coffee Afternoon between 1-3pm, all welcome.

Meanwhile, at Diggle Band Club, the usual extravaganza is being hosted by Margaret Hardy and her daughters on Friday, September 29 from 10am-1pm.

There will be cake, tea and coffee, a home-made stall, a raffle, tombola, and activities including guess the weight of the cake and name the teddy bear.

Also on Friday 29 is a Coffee Morning at Greenfields Florist on Chew Valley Road, from 11am. All welcome.

And all are invited to come along for a nibble and a natter at Dobcross Village Store on Friday 29 from 10am onwards.

Then on Tuesday, October 3 is a Coffee Morning at Moonstone psychic venue and gift shop in Greenfield from 12noon-2pm.

There will be coffee, cakes and other refreshments, with a small entry fee and charity donations welcome.

And rounding off the events on Friday, October 6 is Riverside, at Kenworthy Gardens in Uppermill, with their annual event.

All are welcome from 10am-12noon to enjoy refreshments and stalls including bric-a-brac, books, and a raffle. Small entry donation on the door.
