COMEDIANS WILL take to the stage for a good cause at a fundraising night on Saturday, April 16.

Friends Of Dobcross School are aiming to raise £1,000 through the show at Greenfield’s Off The Rails Comedy Club at The Royal George pub on Manchester Road.
The crowd will be treated to Stephanie Laing’s mix of silliness and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.
Barry Dodd’s uniquely tailored combination of disarming Geordie wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour makes him the perfect contrast.
Then on Sunday, April 24 another hilarious line-up will appear with a headline slot from musical comedian Mitch Benn who regularly performs satirical songs alongside Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis and Marcus Brigstocke on Radio 4’s ‘The Now Show’.
He’s also a firm favourite with audiences as diverse as BBC1’s The One Show and Glastonbury Festival’s infamous comedy tent.
Canada’s Paul Myerhaug and the hotly tipped Josh Pugh are both in Greenfield for the first time and Mike Wilkinson comperes.
Shows are priced from £12-£5 and you can find out full details on line-ups and booking at www.saddleworthcomedy.co.uk or call 07874 152338.
