COMPETITION: Top our fantasy premier league battle to scoop £100

THINK YOU’VE got what it takes to pick a winning Premier League side and scoop £100?

The Saddleworth Independent is running a competition for the second year to let readers battle their best teams against each other via Fantasy Premier League for the 2015/16 season.

Points will managed through the Fantasy Premier League website – and whoever has the highest total at the end of the season will win the Saddleworth Independent’s £100 jackpot, with £50 for second place.

The winner for the 2014/15 season was Jamie Zwaig with Zwaigerino FC while in second place was Rob Blenkinsopp with Tampa Bay United.

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of Local Communications Limited and their families. T&Cs apply.

 

Competition Terms and Conditions:

• Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Local Communications Limited (LCL – trading as the Saddleworth Independent newspaper), its printers and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competitions.
• The Promoter is Local Communications Limited, 5 Kinders Crecent, Greenfield, Saddleworth OL3 7JQ.
• The entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over. Proof of identity and age may be required.
• Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
• All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
• Entries must be made online via the website http://fantasy.premierleague.com
• The prizes (£100 for winner, £50 for second place) are not transferable to another individual.
• The competition will run throughout the 2015-16 Premier League season and prizes will be awarded after its conclusion.
• The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions at any time and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
• In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
• The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by LCL relating to any post-winning publicity.
• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant, or in the event that the promotion is being judged the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up.
• Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
• In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail.
