THIS IS a common dilemma for all holidaymakers and a question that I get asked a lot. It really isn’t a sales pitch… Tour Operators do reward customers for booking early.

With the majority of summer 2016 holidays on sale now here are my top tips:
- Take advantage of some amazing early booking discounts such as FREE and reduced child prices, meal deals and fabulous added value offers, all of which can make a considerable price difference to your holiday cost.
Thomas Cook has launched 100,000 Summer 2016 holidays where Kids go from £1 – Incredible savings for families and we can source you the best offers. - Pick of the bunch: There are so many properties you just can’t get into unless you book early, for example the stunning Sani Resort and Ikos Olivia and Oceania in Halkidiki. These properties have some amazing early booking incentives and sell out for peak periods very quickly.
- Deposits can be as low as £75pp which will allow you plenty of time to save up for your break. Designer Travel offer a monthly payment scheme where you can pay as you go, which is a great way to avoid the stress of paying in one fell swoop.
For those who are truly flexible in terms of where and when you can travel then leaving it late and playing ‘holiday roulette’ can pay off occasionally.
You won’t find many last-minute bargains in peak dates though so be aware choice will be limited and last-minute prices can actually rise not fall.
And remember, any holiday involving a low-cost or scheduled flight is highly unlikely to ever get cheaper except on an off-peak date to a destination that is not currently popular. Prices for these trips only ever go up in my experience.
