DIGGLE’S first ever scarecrow trail has already attracted plenty of attention and caught the eye of the Independent.

Organised by Friends of Diggle School (FODS) and with support from creative and enthusiastic villagers, a total of 40 scarecrows are on parade until Monday, April 22.
The trail theme is ‘children’s books’ and sheets listing all locations and costing £3 are available from: Diggle Post Office, The Gate Inn, The Diggle Hotel, Vintage Ambiance at Warth Mill and Grandpa Greene’s.
Completed sheets will be entered into a prize draw for three Easter hampers. Other prizes, donated by local businesses, will be awarded.
Here is a flavour of what you can expect to find if venturing on the trail.

We have really enjoyed our 2 day scarecrow hunt and loved taking part. We were wondering if it will become a yearly thing. Thank you
Hi Kirsty , yes our next trail will take place over the Easter holidays next year ….we look forward to seeing you there!
