Digs for Dogs, launched in April 2012 in Bury, aims to offer peace of mind to dog owners by providing home boarding with a carefully selected host family while owners take that much needed break.
Pets are accommodated in a loving home environment with one of their dedicated families while their owners are away.
The company has been so successful since its launch that it has recently expanded and rolled out to cover various areas in the North West, including the whole of Oldham and Rochdale.
Emma Croft, who lives in Ramsbottom, has recently invested into a Digs for Dogs franchise and is looking forward to starting her new business in Rochdale and Oldham.
Emma was initially introduced to Digs for Dogs when she became a host family herself – she loved the services provided so much she decided to leave her career as a teaching assistant to start an exciting new lifestyle offering dog care.
She explained: “I first became a home boarding family for Digs for Dogs in 2013. As a family of four, we wanted to go out walking and enjoy the countryside with the company of a dog without the full time commitment.
“We have looked after lots of wonderful dogs since and have never looked back!
Emma added that she knows first-hand how happy dogs can be when settled into a loving and safe environment while their owners are away.
She said: “It is so important to me to be able to offer dog owners the peace of mind that they do not need to stress or worry about being away from their dogs.
“I feel it is essential to their happiness to be able to continue their normal feeding, walking and play routine, in the comfortable surroundings of a loving family.”
