SWIMMERS can look forward to diving in at the deep end after an exciting refurbishment at Saddleworth Pool.
From Monday, October 23 to Sunday, November 5, the pool at Saddleworth Pool and Leisure Centre, in Uppermill, will be closed for important refurbishments.
It will re-open on Monday, November 6 and normal sessions and activities will resume.
The works are being done as part of a £50,000 investment in plant room equipment and poolside refurbishments including lighting, grouting and a deep clean.
The aim is to ensure the pool keeps up to date with current standards and regulations, and it is hoped the closure for just two weeks will minimise disruption to customers.
During the works, the other facilities at the centre – including the studio, gym, outdoor pitches, sauna, steam rooms and changing rooms – will still be open as usual.
