FIND OUT how to make the most of social and local media to promote your enterprise for free thanks to an exclusive workshop being held by a Dobcross writer.

John L Matthews, a film maker and writer, will share some of his secrets at the event on Thursday, February 25 at the The Reclamation Room café in Uppermill.
The former print and radio journalist will give attendees tips on how to get noticed in a crowded market using social media to promote their enterprise.
He will also tell attendees how to make the most of local media assets right under their noses, such get getting into the local paper, on the radio or online for free.
John, owner of film company The Bigger Picture, explained: “The aim is to equip people with the techniques required to help them get space in a publication without paying any money.”
The ‘How to promote your enterprise for free’ event will run from 10.30am-12.30pm on Thursday, February 25 at The Reclamation Room in Uppermill. Attendees can bring any newspaper or publication along on the day.
