3D DYNAMOS reserves have landed a league and cup double following a memorable season in the Huddersfield and District League.
They clinched the reserve division three title in style with a convincing 8-0 victory against Berry Brow ‘A’ with Danny Heywood scoring four of the goals.
This came days after they won the Gee Cup defeating Cumberworth 3-1 at Storthes Hall in the final. Tom Milnes scored twice to be named man of the match while Danny Laithwaite also found the net with a penalty.
The team is a very young side essentially made up of footballers who have played for 3D Dynamos youth teams and which won the reserve division four title last season. And in view of the fact they are playing at a higher level, it makes this season’s achievements even more commendable.
