Fairey Band to bring magical Christmas concert to Uppermill

fairey band posterCHRISTMAS MAGIC is coming to the Civic Hall in Uppermill as the world famous Fairey Band will put on a top class concert on Saturday, December 5 at 8pm.

The famous band, founded in 1937, will play a host of the best of brass music along with some Christmas favourites, with the chance for the audience to join in with the carols.

The concert is organised by Champion Brass as their annual ‘Christmas Cracker’ event which is still going strong in its 19th year.

Organiser Phil Beckwith said: “We are delighted to welcome one of the best brass bands around to give the public a really good Christmas programme for the second year in a row.

“It promises to be a top concert and we look forward to welcoming friends old and new to join us for the night.”
