‘Fashion and Fun’ will be held at Christy’s Coffee House on the village High Street on Wednesday, February 26 from 7pm, with the bar open as usual.

The event will offer customers the chance to share a drink with friends while shopping for clothes and accessories, pampering themselves and enjoying a tarot or angel cards reading.

Marc O’Neill, who runs the café with wife Irene, said: “We thought it would be a bit different to bring these three activities from local companies together.

“It is something that isn’t being done elsewhere and we have got the space to provide a platform for smaller businesses to promote themselves and put their ideas forward.

“By hosting it in the coffee shop we also offer a relaxed and friendly environment so people have enjoy a drink with friends too.”

Pop-up shops will be held at Christy’s Coffee House on the last Wednesday of each month and donations from the event will benefit charities, with The Christie Appeal chosen for February.

Any other local small businesses interested in taking part in a ‘pop-up’ shop at Christy’s Coffee House should contact Marc or Irene on 01457 870411.
