THE funeral for popular Uppermill butcher Paul Lowcock will be held on Wednesday, February 20.
Paul, who ran Paul’s Quality Meats on the village high street, passed away suddenly on February 2 after being taken ill on January 4.
His funeral procession will depart from his home at 11am, up to St Chads Church, Uppermill for a service at 11.30am.
That will be followed by family and friends to the Hollinwood Crematorium for a committal at 1pm.
Then all are invited to celebrate Paul’s life at the White Heart Inn, Lydgate, from 2pm onwards.
Family flowers only and any donations to Saddleworth Round Table for their chosen charities.
Saddleworth Roundtablers will attend in tuxedos in Paul’s honour. Smart dress code for the rest in attendance please.
