P24 dovestone 08082013573
BEAUTY SPOT: Dovestone Reservoir in Greenfield

The Greenfield beauty spot is one of the few areas in England where mountain hares can be spotted.

And the RPSB are welcoming residents to join them for a talk about the charismatic creatures at The Clarenece pub before walking towards the Chew Reservoir to spot the hare in the wild.

Children are welcome but no dogs. Please bring warm, waterproof clothing, good walking shoes or boots and your lunch.

There will be a few pairs of binoculars to lend out on the day but if you have a trusty pair then please bring them for your own use.

The event will run from 10.30am (meet at The Clarance) to 3pm and is free for RSPB members but there will be a £4 per adult non-member charge.

Booking is essential as space for the talk is limited. Please email miriam.biran@rspb.org.uk or call 07921 069924 to book your place.

The bar at The Clarence Pub will be open to anyone who would like a hot drink before setting off, biscuits provided.
