FIRMLY SET in the Saddleworth Calendar, Denshaw Flower and Home Produce Show is set to be a roaring success on Saturday, September 13 in the Village Hall at Denshaw.
David Wheeler, committee member, said: “With the good weather over the summer and with the mild spring, we are confident the flower and vegetable classes will be as popular as ever and we welcome entries from everyone no matter where they live.
“Also, the home produce exhibits have grown steadily over the years and I am confident once again of a healthy number and quality of exhibits.”
There are classes for almost all flower, vegetables and home produce and entries are allowed on the day between 9am and 12 noon when judging begins.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the Denshaw show is the auction at the end when the public can buy the exhibits.
