ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS are being sought to join Dobcross Whit Friday Committee and help to organise their annual spectacle on June 13.
New members are welcome to join to put forward fundraising ideas and take on a share of the organising work, with bi-monthly meeting attendance required leading up to the event.
The committee is responsible for arranging entertainment on Whit Friday afternoon for children as well as the band contest in the evening.
Committee member Gavin Roberts said: “We want to ensure the event continues in the future and grows from year to year.
“We’re looking for people willing to give up just 15 hours in a 12 month period to help out.”
The committee is also looking for volunteers to help with the preparation 24 hours before and on the event day.
