Get thinking caps on for Quiz Night and Supper at Saddleworth Museum

GET YOUR thinking cap on for a Quiz Night and Supper at Saddleworth Museum & Gallery in Uppermill on Friday, February 3.

saddleworth-museum-logoThe Museum invites teams of two to six people to take part in the quiz, which will include the usual rounds of questions. A raffle with super prizes will also be held.

A supper will be served with a choice of either meat and potato or cheese and onion supper with tea or coffee during the interval. Empty wine glasses will be available for those wishing to bring their own drink.

Teams should make a small deposit at the Museum, on Uppermill High Street, in advance to reserve a table, with the balance of £5 per person payable on the night.

Please arrive around 7pm for a 7.30pm start prompt. To reserve a table or find out more, call 01457 874093, or pop in to the museum any day between 1-4pm.

Meanwhile, a host of other exciting events is to be held at Saddleworth Museum in Uppermill in February.

On Wednesday, February 8 there is a Coffee Morning from 10am -12noon, £1 entrance including a drink,

Then on Sunday, February 12 is the monthly Farmers’ Market outside the museum from 9am-2pm. Free entrance.

On Tuesday, February 14 ‘Delve into the Diaries of the Past’ from 11am–12.30pm, working with Explore Learning Oldham.

Suitable for children aged 7 to 11. £3 per child to be booked in advance with the museum’s learning officers.

And on Thursday, February 16, ‘Museum Makes – Take on Transport’ is from 1-3pm. Suitable for children aged 4 – 11. £3 per child.
