TALKING POINT in Saddleworth was buzzing as a host of glamorous guests attended the party of the year when Linda Davies, owner and director of Focus Education and Talking Point, celebrated her 60th birthday.
The glitz and glamour party on Saturday, May 4 started with a Hollywood walk of fame and red carpet arrival.
Staff served peach champagne Bellinis with 23 carat gold flakes before guests made their way upstairs to the Oscar Ceremony where they had been nominated for prizes such as Best Domestic Goddess, Best Look alike and Most Memorable Moment.
The winners were read from a golden envelope and were presented with their own Oscar Statues.
Talking Point provided a stunning backdrop for the glamour and glitz themed evening and was transformed with a spectacular entrance, unique table centrepieces, ‘Oscar style’ floral arrangements and giant gold Oscar statues. There was even a Hollywood-themed bar on the top floor.
The ladies looked stunning in cocktail dresses and ball gowns, while the gentlemen looked dapper in tuxedos.

An array of delicious food and the five-tier black, white and diamante cake was served before guests made their way outside for a breathtaking firework display.
After a final champagne toast and speech from the birthday girl, guests danced the night away to Talking Point’s resident DJ and exclusive live performances from Morgan.
