SADDLEWORTH HOSTED the Mahdlo Charity Golf Day for the third successive year.
Fourteen teams of four entered the four-ball betterball Stableford that had a shotgun start.
The winners were the Handshake Group with a score of 90 points. Second was Ansa Elevators with 89 points and third place went to Bridge Insurance with 85.
There was also a ladies’ prize which was won by Saddleworth member Julie Ward who was in the Kingmill Properties team. She scored 28 points in the individual competition.
Mahdlo – Oldham spelt backwards – is a youth zone based on Egerton Street, Oldham.
