GORGEOUS GARDENS across the area will be judged in the annual Saddleworth in Bloom competition on Wednesday 5 August.
Green-fingered gardeners will compete for prizes in five categories: large, medium, small, container and community. Prizes are also awarded for the Best Blooming Pub.
Residents are asked to nominate their own garden or a garden in the area that they think should be seen by the judges.
The prestigious panel of judges will include the Chairman of Saddleworth Parish Council Neil Allsopp, gardening expert Frank Ashton and RHS Silver Gilt and Silver award winner Sharon Hockenhull.
