Greenfield coffee shop makes the move to Delph

By Georgia Spratt

A POPULAR Greenfield coffee shop has relocated to Delph.

The Pick Me Up Company, previously located on Chew Valley Road, can now be found in a different Saddleworth village.

Owner Sally Dewhirst realised the firm had outgrown the premises she referred to as ‘the cave.’

Now it can be found in what was known as The Garage, on Saddleworth Business Centre, close to The Old Bell Inn.

Sally said: “Greenfield has been incredible.

“Cosy days in the cave made me realise we need more.”

Sally has taken on The Garage from previous owners Michelle and Steve Greenwood and she added: “Michelle and Steve have created a cosy space that we’re excited to make our own while keeping the community spirit at the heart of every Pick Me Up Truck.

“Soon, it will be your one-stop place for all things Pick Me Up.”

The now previous owners are enthusiastic about the new chapter Sally is going to create.

They said: “Michelle is hanging up her pinny and semi-retiring.

“Many of you will know Sally from her Greenfield coffee shop or her Pick Me Up Coffee truck at local markets.

“We couldn’t be happier to hand over the reins to someone who shares our passion for the community – and who has some exciting new ideas, including an extended product range and longer opening hours.”

The Pick Me Up Company’s former home is currently being converted into a branch of Stalybridge-based Nonna’s, with an expected opening date of March.
