FAMILIES in Grotton are being invited to celebrate the reopening of their local playground following a series of improvements and new additions.
The Grotton Residents Association will officially reopen the playground on Station Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2pm on Saturday, August 15.
Visitors will have the chance to see a range of new features, including colourful animal graphics, hopscotch markings, a snakes and ladders game and a brand-new inclusive seesaw designed to make the play area accessible to more children.
The event will be a celebration for the whole community, with bubbles, refreshments and family-friendly activities planned throughout the afternoon.
Residents, friends, neighbours and local councillors are all being encouraged to attend and mark the occasion as the improved facility is officially unveiled.
The reopening represents the latest investment in community facilities in the village and aims to provide an enhanced play space for local children and families to enjoy for years to come.
