Handel’s Messiah raises roof for 53rd annual performance in Uppermill

A WONDERFUL performance of Handel’s Messiah filled the Civic Hall in Uppermill to the rafters.

The Saddleworth Male Voice Choir and Musical Director Dorian Kelly with augmented ladies chorus, soloists from the RNCM and the Pennine Orchestra, leader Donald Clarke, presented their 53rd consecutive performance.

The audience, who filled out the hall to capacity, enjoyed a wonderful and uplifting evening of music.
