It's all smiles at Apollonia House for National Smile Month

National Smile Month is coming to Grasscroft as Apollonia House will be joining in the UK’s biggest oral health campaign.

Taking place from 18 May to 18 June, National Smile Month aims to promote and raise awareness of good oral health, and Apollonia House is getting involved in doing just that.

To show their support, the team from Apollonia House will be holding a ‘draw your dentist’ competition.

All children are encouraged to drop in drawings of their dentist or draw one in the practice between May 18 – June 18.

The competition aims to put the smile into National Smile Month. The team also hopes to raise awareness of how important oral health is.

There will be a prize for under 7s and one for 7-12 year olds. The prize will be a Philips Sonicare Children’s Toothbrush worth £75, specifically designed for growing kids to encourage healthy habits and deliver outstanding results even when they are brushing on their own.

Apollonia House dentist Laura Rice said: “We love taking part in National Smile Month. That is why we run a competition.

“Good oral health is vital for a healthy smile as well as a healthy body, and we’ll be spreading that message throughout smile month.
