Knowsley remembers: school raises £354.21 for RBL

A POIGNANT display was created by pupils and staff at Knowsley Junior School as part of their Remembrance Day activities, raising £354.21 for the Royal British Legion.

The display in the school entrance hall featured the silhouette of solider with the single word ‘remember’ and dozens of handmade red poppies hanging down.

To raise funds for the charity, there were traditional poppies along with snap bands, reflective poppies, zip tags and wrist bands on sale in the Springhead school.
